Re-work the clothes you have to express yourself
Heading back to school but don't have the money for a new wardrobe? Here are some tips to spruce up your outfits.
Being cool and trendy is all about personal style, not just about wearing the latest fashion. If you can't spring for a new outfit, make a new one from what you already have by being adventurous. Take two t-shirts and cut them down the side seam and around the collar. Then, take the front from one and the back from another and re-stitch. Two new t-shirts in mixed colors or patterns with very little work.
Using fabric glue, you can attach beads or crystals to a pair of jeans, or the back of a jacket. Make a picture out of multi-colored beads or just an unusual design. You can also use fabric ink and paint to paint a scene on a blouse or pair of shorts.
